About Me

I’ve had the opportunity to hone my problem solving, design, and communication skills in three separate disciplines. Physics, photography, and coaching gymnastics. And it was coding in my free time where I found them all come together .

So I decided to make a huge change and join a coding bootcamp. The full-time 13 week program - coding 700+ hours in a simulated professional work environment. This included daily stand ups, communicating with my team via slack and zoom, abiding by best practices in terms of version control with GitHub, and reporting to our project manager, a senior level developer.

I am skilled in JavaScript (ES5/ES6+), React.js, Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, jQuery, Bootstrap 4, HTML5 and CSS3. My toolset includes Git/GitHub, VSCode, npm, Webpack, Figma and MeisterTask.
